PP Orahovica d.o.o.’s position in the food supply chain is an all-encompassing one, because our product range includes so-called “field to table” products, i.e., products obtained from primary production and those obtained by processing the raw materials that we produce ourselves.
We find it extremely important to control each and every step that is relevant in food quality and safety, as this enables us to be recognized as a trusted producer and supplier of food products.
In order to achieve this goal, we have implemented a food quality and safety management system defined through the requirements of the Croatian standard HR EN ISO 22000:2018 and the IFS Food Standard. This has made it possible for us to have a simpler and more efficient way of controlling the quality and safety of our products.
By fulfilling the requirements of the implemented standards, the legal regulations of the Republic of Croatia and of the European Union, we ensure consistency in the quality, safety and traceability of products.
We give our customers information about the safety of our products, which further contributes to the quality and safety of the products they use.
Communication with suppliers is an integral part of this policy, as it helps us to make a good choice when it comes to the selection of suppliers and in doing so, meet our customers’ demands.
We use state-of-the-art technology, upgrade existing programs and introduce new ones in order to gain and continually improve the trust of our clients and of our employees as well.
We educate our employees with a view to raising their awareness about the importance of product quality and safety.
All product safety and quality-related information is timely communicated to all employees involved in production processes.
The company’s Management Board is committed to continual upgrading and improvement of food quality and safety systems and provides all the material, financial and human resources required to efficiently implement the systems.
Here at PP Orahovica, food safety culture is defined through an interaction of a food safety climate across all levels of the company, from management to employees, and an efficient food safety management system.
Commitment on the part of the Management Board is also an integral part of this policy.
By achieving these goals, we have set for ourselves, we create the prerequisites for satisfaction of all the company’s employees.
Success in implementing this policy relies on our employee’s commitment to self-assessment (under HACCP system), with special emphasis on food safety and good hygiene practices.
We know that production of top-quality, safe food would be impossible without protecting our environment and the health and safety of all our employees.
