WE BELIEVE THAT THE GOOD THINGS IN LIFE ARE NOT COMPLICATED
We come from Slavonia, a region known for its beauty, pure nature and benevolent people who know how to eat well.
Life has always been a slow-paced, simple one here and it is that simplicity that has always guaranteed a better and more fulfilled life.
It is precisely here, in Slavonia, that Baron Salamon Heinrich Gutmann began constructing our fish ponds back in 1912. The slopes of Papuk mountain, abundant in forests and pastures, are also full of creeks bringing cold and crystal-clear water down from the mountain. This is why this location was perfect for farming top quality fish. Our fish ponds are still surrounded by clean, untouched nature. They are filled by water from the nearby rivers and other bodies of water from Papuk Nature Park, where there are no pollutants and where the effect of harmful external elements is minimal. This is important, because the better the water, the better the fish.
