Fishnuggets Kids with Fried Sweet Potato, Tzatziki Dip & Ketchup

Prepare the Fishnuggets Kids according to the instructions on the packaging.

Wash the sweet potatoes and slice them into very thin chips, preferably using a mandoline slicer. Pat the slices dry with a paper towel and deep-fry them in oil heated to 200°C (392°F) until they become crispy and turn a golden-orange color.

Drain the fried Fishnuggets Kids on a paper towel to remove excess oil and lightly season with salt.

Cut the cucumber into quarters, remove the seedy center, and dice the flesh into small cubes. Add mayonnaise and Greek yogurt, season lightly with salt and pepper, and drizzle with a few drops of lemon juice and olive oil. Mix well, then sprinkle the tzatziki dip with a little sweet red paprika before serving. If kids enjoy it, you can also add finely chopped garlic, dill, or fennel leaves to the dip.

If desired, serve Fishnuggets Kids with mild ketchup (or BBQ sauce) as an additional dip.

  • 2 small sweet potatoes
  • 1 tbsp light mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cucumber
  • 1/2 lemon
  • A pinch of sweet red paprika
  • Mild ketchup or BBQ sauce
  • olive oil
  • Salt & pepper
